I've made a few of these vinyl-and-cork noticeboards and am pretty pleased with how they've turned out!  They make quite a talking point when people see them in your study or kitchen as well, and they're so cheap to make.  I bought the vinyl record from a charity shop for 50p and spent a few months merrily drinking the wine I needed for the corks  Cheesy

Great Christmas present idea for awkward people like brothers or Dads as well!

Really cool!  I think I might use that idea for a Christmas present for my dad...especially if I can get my hands on record from one of his favorite bands.

What did you use as an adhesive?

Haha, thank you!  I used regular white/PVA glue and it seemed to be pretty solid, though I'd try and avoid spreading it in between the corks as you can see it a bit when it dries  Sad

Thanks!  When I went to my parents' house for Thanksgiving I tried to hint around a little to see if my dad would like one.  When my dad was in his computer room I was like "geez dad, you've got post-its everywhere, you need a bulletin board!"
