Hey everyone!
This year my friends and I are going to be giving everyone in our group gifts for Christmas, (I'm 13), and I plan on surprising my friends by making each of them something. The problem is that I don't know what you make. I want it to be something that won't take too long (considering I have to make about 7 of them, then I have to make the gifts for family members) So, does anyone have any ideas for quick crafts that I make and give as gifts to my friends?  Huh
Thanks,
~Crafting Angel  Smiley

Felt ornaments or bookmarks would be quick and inexpensive. Smiley

How about some of the salt dough ornaments shown in a post above you?

I'm thinking along the lines of the letters for the first letter of each friend's name.  You could then paint them according to what they like-- pink & sparkly or black with skulls/crosses, whatever.  You could also glue on beads, etc.  Check out the paint section in a local craft store or Wal-Mart and see what specialty colors/sheens/glitters they have to offer.  Acrylic paint is cheap (less than $1 a bottle, usually),so this should be a very inexpensive project.

Little felt hair bows are quick, and very cute. Mixed Cds, provided you then make custom cd cases for them (that's the most fun), String art, where you take nails and nail them in a connect the dot fashion and then weave embroidery/cotton thread around them to make cool patterns while still forming the image that you intended. (You can then frame it and it looks really cute)

My friends and I have a tradition of giving bracelets to each other every year too, as a sort of momento of time gone by. You can scour the internet for different ideas, I make bracelets for my very masculine male friends as well, so it's not a strictly girls thing.

thanks for the ideas, i guess i will have to keep them in mind considering my friend started secret Santa,I'm still going to make all of my friends a gift, but I'm, going to have to give my person an extra gift. Does anyone have an idea for my friend who is all about pink and green? for everyone I'm going to make a bracelet or necklace with a letter from the word Friends , Why? well they have those best friends, or best friends forever necklaces and they only come in groups of 2 or 3 and there is 7 of us

You could maybe make her a set of personalized magnets.  There are a few tutorials on Craftster that look easy and fun.
