I found this monkey at a car boot sale for 20 pence.
She's a Hawaiian monkey but she didn't have the skirt so I decided to revamp
her and give her to my friend Elaine as a pre-wedding gift.
Elaine has got both the Hawaiian monkeys (male and female) so I thought I turn
her into a pirate since the theme of her hen night was pirates.
I'm very pleased with the result.

And yes, Elaine loved her.  Grin

I love this idea...thrifty, crafty and fun!

ps - I also love that you call bachelorette parties "hen" parties.  I think it's a better name!  But what's the men's party called?? Wink

Stag do. No, I have no idea why Smiley

I think it's fantastic Smiley This Rocks! I love how it still looks like a girly pirate too. Is it based on your outfit? Tongue
