I've been wanting to make these for some time...
Basically - you pin them to your shirt, then put the arm of your reading glasses through the metal loop.  These are both for a friend of my mom's who just had eye surgery and likes weird things - such as monsters.  The owl is for when she's feeling less kooky.

A couple pics of them in action on my hubby's shirt.

OMG genius!! I work for an eye doctor and every patient we have would use these! Everyone's always complaining that they're losing their reading glasses but nobody likes putting them on a cord and wearing them around their neck. These are awesome!

I love both of them!
The monster face is perfect and the owl is gorgeous too.
The concept is very clever too.

Yup - broach pin on the back.  The metal rings were from a grab-bag of metal findings that I've had in my stash forever...I suppose you could use a key-chain ring, or make a wire loop, or even some firm cording. The clay is reinforced with a piece of wire inside (looped through the metal ring) so the clay doesn't have to support all the weight of the glasses.  I used Sculpey Firm, which is grey, then painted with acrylics.
