There is some seriously cool stuff here, I will be wisting in no time!!!

Sorry for the delay of piccies, here is my package from Midnight!

First up, on top of my package was an URGENT letter, saying that there are items that belong to my family and they are for MEEEE!! The letter was so detailed it all felt very genuine Smiley

Then, artefacts!! I have no idea if I was supposed to open these in order.. I got far too excited and ended up opening them all up backwards (I think!)

Midnight has been SERIOUSLY creative here, I love it!

The journal was written by an 'ancestor' of mine who sailed the seven seas to be with his true love! All the artefacts link into his story

These keys were used to free him from capture on one ship (correct me if I'm wrong midnight, I read the journal quite late a few nights ago and don't have it to hand right now!! MAH! And he put them on a chain with some green beads from his loves necklace, he was going to fix!

This iron key was given to him by his late captain, and his next mission was to find out what it was for!

Through sailing and switching between boats he ends up on an island where he meets a lady who gives him a map.

Exploring the island he comes across various interesting bits & bobs, like gold, pearls.. fruit with gems instead of pips! He puts them all in his pockets in case he ever makes it home.. (all the gems and pearls are strung onto the iron key & stitched onto the map!) The map eventually leads him to a door which the key fits (horrah!) and took him through a passage that mysteriously ends in his home town and back into the arms of his true love!! (excuse past and present tense here.. I am not a writer.. Midnight however, is!)

Here's a selection of pages from the journal!

thanks midnight for being a totally awesome swap partner! X

deffo one of the funnest packages I've ever made, I really enjoyed making it Cheesy
And so on to one of the best packages I've ever received from the ever talented Loukr! I nicked a few of her photos of the items she sent as she is a proffessional Smiley

Exciting numbered packages which I carefully opened in order (I lie, I was too excited I madea right old mess!)

Firstly, some lovely vintage fabrics and buttons... which I have already had to get stuck into cause they are soo pretty

A beautiful vintage key pendant, which has charms at the back so they dangle behind, how clever is that? I never thought of that before!

Each item came with a pretty vintage style printed label Cheesy

I couldnt get a great photo of this cause of the glare, but as Loukr is a very talented photographer she sent this print which is a self portrait entitled 'mechanical' : "she woulddo the same thing, at the same time, every single day like clockwork, just to keep herself from shutting down"

An absolutely GORGEOUS fabric flower necklace with a vintage key on it. I adore this! I wore it out today and felt sooo proud of it!

Last but by no means least, this amazing hanging garland with dangling keys made from twisted vintage fabric, vintage buttons and ribbon. It is simply incredible and the craftmanship is so wonderful! I hung it up in my room straight away and keep moving it and playing with it. I just cant decide where it looks best cause it looks so good everywhere!

Thanks Loukr for an incredible package, I love everything so much!
