I never made a shirt for Deathly Hallows, but i did make some fingerless gloves (in Ravenclaw colors). I had plenty of those colors left over for a hat, so i made one today! I finished it in the theatre while i waited three hours for the movie to begin.

My first time using double-pointed needles... about as awkward as all the videos make them look. Cheesy

All finished -- it's a shot of the back, so the lines look a little wonky at the seam bit.

I didn't take any photos of myself wearing it in the theatre (i was alone, and i feel weird about taking photos of myself in front of people), so a couple shots of me at home after.

Your hat came out great!

There are many tutorials for jogless stripes out there, but when all is said and done, I personally don't mind the jogging that much.

I take it you went to see the midnight showing? Awesome  Grin  My hubby and I are going to see it tomorrow night...hubby didn't want to go tonight because he said the lines would be too long...(like they are going to be that different between the two, lol).

The cinema I went to played the movie in 5 or 6 separate theatres. I chose the 1206 showing, and I had no line. Smiley

I was going to try to make the color changes look seamless, but this was the first time I even made a hat with two colors, so I just left it. I also don't really mind it, though. I'll probably work on it in case I make a hat for anybody else.

I love it! I'm afraid to even come near double pointed needles. The had is so good, Ravenclaw's my favorite =)
