bestyjean, that turned out great!  I'm still struggling with my pompom -- I keep getting tangled as I try to wind the yarn around the loops.  Who knew that would turn out to be the hardest part of this hat?  Cheesy

I just cut long strips of string and used my tapestry needle to wrap it around. Plus it helps when it starts getting tight.

So cute!  I have to make some of these for the babies in my life.  And as soon as the adult-size pattern is out, I am SO making one for myself!

I made one! But I had to change the pattern a little bit, so mine looks more like pie than a cupcake!

I just finished my cupcake hat last night. I used french knots for the sprinkles.

I thought the 2 inches of "cup" ribbing seemed short compared to the photos I saw. I decided to cast on 72 sts instead of 80 to make it more proportional. With 80 sts, it would have been wide enough for an adult. Anyone have any comments on this?
