This was my son's first Halloween and made him a Link costume!  I had so much fun sewing it and seeing the whole thing come together.  I pretty much wanted him to be Link since the day I found out I was having a boy.  So without further ado, I present Link!

The sword and shield were made of felt and cardboard.  My favorite part of his costume were the boots.  I want to make a whole bunch of them now!

That is awesome! And so cute! I made a similar costume (a little larger, lol) for my stepson this year, and it was so much fun, and for me it was such a good learning experience, since I am still a sewing noob. Great job, and I love the boots! I wasn't adventurous to make any, I just make little brown legwarmer thingys to cover his ankles...necessity is the mother of invention  Smiley
The link to the costume I made is below:

Guardie for life.

I am really interested in doing a personal swap, especially for greener things like reusable lady items, wool dryer balls, or other such things.  I can knit, sew, draw, and put things together in pretty neat ways.  Please PM me if you're interested.

Ahhhh booo, it wont let me post his picture since it's my first post. Sad Maybe next time I can show you Smiley
