My 71 yr old mom insisted on having this gnaked gnome stitched up after she saw a painting of him online.
How could I not comply?

He is stitched on an unbleached cotton-linen tea towel because I thought that made it even funnier.  I opted for redwork to match the striping, and because fleshtone would not have popped against the fabric.

Standard 2strand split stitch for most of it.
