The husband asked for a stocking this year, and since he never had one as a kid - who am I to deny a 32 year old?

I used 2 fat quarters of Moda's Basic Grey 'Fruitcake' ( lining, exterior) and maybe 1/8 yard for the cuff. Just traced  existing stockings that we had and for the cuff, used this tut:
