I'm learning how to fair-isle knit but everything is puckering up on me!  Is there an easy way to fix this aside from making someone else do all the work for me?

Hello Debbie!
I'm another huge fan of your books and have both Stitch N Bitch and Nation, The Happy Hooker, as well as the Journal.  I'm hoping for the Son of...book before too long.

My questions:  What is your favorite fiber to knit with and why?  Is there a particular fiber you loathe and why?

Thanks for all you've done and keep up the great work! Cheesy

Are you planning on another crochet book? I love knitting but I'm so slow at it!

Hi Debbie!
I too, am among the many that learned how to knit and crochet using your books, and I too, am among the many hoping for another crochet book!  Your Happy Hooker book was the inspiration to start a yarn arts club for teachers at my school last year and really helps us unwind after a long day!

My question:
I was wondering where do you get your inspiration for such fun and funky projects?  The patterns I find in your books are so unlike others, and for that I'm thankful--it gives us younger crafters something to follow that doesn't look like our grandmother made it!

Keep up the great work!  Looking forward to a Happy Hooker 2, and any other books you decide to write for us!  (Your books are like potato chips---you can't have just one!)

Hi Debbie! I'm joining the chorus requesting (begging for?  Cheesy) Happy Hooker 2. My copy of Happy Hooker fell apart long ago from the many hours of love.

My question is have you ever considered putting together a book of just accessories (bags, hats, home items), both knitted and crocheted? I would be all over that in a heartbeat. I have a new baby and have time only for smaller projects, and besides, the accessories are always my favorite parts of your books. Plus, I don't have the money to invest in nice yarn for a large project but can usually swing a ball or two of nice yarn for a small project.  Smiley Thanks, and thanks so much for Happy Hooker! It got me started on my passion for crochet.

And the winner is!!!

madannevain17!

Here was her question:

What's the most challenging thing you've ever taken on in your knitting adventures?

We're compiling the questions for our interview and we'll post it as soon as it's done!  In the mean time, keep your eyes peeled for more ways to win this book and some other awesome goodies!

Hi Ms. Stoller,

I'm just starting out as a knitter and really want to do some great and epic projects like a huge afghan or something.  Anyways I'm going to be purchasing your first book "Stitch N' Bitch" and I was wondering what Knitting Needles I should get as a beginner knitter or even yarn?  I'm on a limited budget as I'm currently job hunting but have been dying to do something with my hands in which I can see the end result and use it.  Also where can I find some more of your videos if I require extra help?
