I am doing a private swap with MissingWillow who has the most amazing, magical farm ever. I flip flopped several times as to what I was going to make. Even when I started the making the project in my mind was no where near what it turned out to be... thank the gods for happy surprises  Wink

So here it is, an Ode to a farm house.

The painting is a wee oil I did just a short while ago. The fluffy stuff is wool from MissingWillow's farm.

There's a bead chandelier on the ceiling... because who says a farm house can't be fancy?

On the other side there's a spool of thread, button and sewing needle on a wee shelf. I think that sewing is outrageously domestically lovely. There's also a bunch of blue ribbons because MissingWillow is a master with preserves and won a load at her local fair.

The hutch opens to reveal some of those yummy preserves, fresh baked bread, lovely speckled eggs and other goodies.

The entire room measures around 5.5" wide and 7.5" tall...

... and it's housed in an old wooden ham box that I've had sitting around for eons.

Aren't I just the luckiest?!  My husband says we need to redo our dining room to match this.   Cheesy  Our farm house actually does have a fancy chandelier and our hutch is surrounded by jams, ribbons and artwork so you pretty much nailed it.  Thank you so much, Knickertwist!

I am sooo glad you like it. There was a tiny part of me that was thinking... hmmm, what if she sees it and thinks, "what the hell is this? I don't have any of this stuff in my house? Pftt!"
