Before & after...

a little bit of bleach pen & mehndi  inspiration. This dated, old tube top was on it's way to the charity bin now I can't wait to wear it out! I think I may add halter style straps, coming out from the middle at the front by a large wooden bead.

There is a tutorial on my site on the diy page. Cheers!

I tried another - this time cherry blossoms - I can't stop - no plain shirt is safe!

That's very hip.  I'm going to have to give it a try.  Do you have to be extra careful even while rinsing it so that the pattern doesn't spread/bleed?

Exciting... do you henna your hands, too?  Did you get those designs online?  I've been doing mehendi for some years now, I took lessons from an Indian lady to learn to do wedding designs.   Cheesy  Yay for mehendi!

no - I've never tried it for real. I found a great site for patterns though. The link is on my site with the project.

Wow. My bleach pen endeavors have always been so unoriginal. Anarchist symbols on wristbands, words on the butts of underwear. You make me look so stupid with those tops. They are so beautiful!! I wish i could handle a bleach pen like you can. You make me mad-jealous of your skills.

Wowsers... OK, now I *need* to try the bleach pen.  I have the iron transfer pens, but haven't used them yet either.. I seem to get a "list" of projects to do, from being on here.  I really like your designs.. you are so photogenic too *jealous*
