I made these brooches by machine zigzagging fancy yarn onto thick black felt, then added my handmade buttons. I put a safety pin on the back as a fastener. I ended up making lots of them as it was quite hypnotic doing the spiral zigzagging!

These remind me of the chunky jewelery a lot of the rich older ladies around me wear, the kind that like to join the red hat society. Bet they would be a hit if you made some jewelery sets!
