I made this little crocheted poodle in memory of my sweet Annie, who died in September, at the age of 19 and a half years.

That's adorable, and i'm sorry for your loss. My poodle died in May, so I know how you feel. A plushie version of him would have made everyone feel better, maybe I'll have to make one too...

I am so sorry to hear of Annie's passing.  I hope she is romping in the meadow above Smiley
Your ami Annie is adorable and warms my heart being a poodle lover myself.  You did a fabulous job on her Smiley

Thanks, everyone.
Trickster, I'm sorry for your loss, too.
Poodles are such great dogs.
I have a standard named Mac, and a toy named Ben.  My boys miss their sister.

I'm so sorry to hear about Annie. It must be awful not having her there after 19 years. That little shrine makes me want to cry!  Cry
This is such a great way to memorialize pets, I might make one for my shih-tzu coco, who passed a while ago.

Thanks, Arrowstation,
It is hard; I've had her since she was 6 weeks old, and she was with me from my 20's into my 40's...a big slice of my life.
She was the sweetest, most stubborn little thing, lol.  She loved to retrieve.
I had that picture taken of her years ago, and I keep it on  my mantle, but I moved it to take pics of my little Annie ami.
I'm so sorry for your loss; if you make a little ami Coco, I'd love to see it.

That is great way to remember your poodle. I'm sorry about the loss of Annie. I can't imagine what it must be like to live without her now.  I hope that I can have as many years with my poodle.

Thanks so much, everyone.

Gingersperson, your dog is so cute!

Eatmoreplants, it's a great idea to have your dog's hair spun into yarn so you can crochet with it.  I saved Annie's hair for years, but then it got thrown out during one of my moves.

It must be hard without her after so many years. The poodle you made is very, very cute and I hope it helps you cope with the loss of Annie.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard, and my heart goes out to you.   I lost my Stanley (a chihuahua) a little over a year ago, and I too crocheted little Stanleys.  I have several around my home, tucked on shelves, on the bed, the couch, etc.  I find it comforting, and I hope you will too.  All the best. And you did a wonderful job crocheting Annie.

I love it so much!!  Beautiful!  I'm sorry about everyone's poodles- I had to give mine up to a new home after my divorce.  I know she's happy, but boy do I miss her.
