Firstly, I hope this is the right spot for this post!!

I had an idea the other day, but I don't have time to make it up, so I thought I would put it up here, and see if anyone would like to have a try at it.

I am planning a nature-y / flowery / butterfly type of theme for my daughter's nursery, and I thought a mobile that looks like falling leaves might be cute, maybe even with a butterfly or 2 perched in there somewhere? Who knows.  I originally thought of making it from felt, but maybe paper, or fabric sandwiched over stiff interfacing might be better?? I planned for some of the leaves to curve gently, so the mobile would have a more 'realistic' feel.

I am really committed to decluttering and organising my whole house and life right now, so I don't want to get sidetracked by this.  However, I would love to see it made up, so if there is anyone out there who could find a use for a similar mobile, feel free to have a try!!

I drew my basic leaf, scanned it and resized it a few times, but that is as far as I want to go!  I *must* get on with sorting out my junk!!  Feel free to use this for personal projects, and if you do please, please, please post a photo!!

(Also, if anyone has any ideas on how to make better templates, message me!! Smiley

Great idea, and so simple and sweet!   I will definitely have a try at this, but I am time-line challenged, so don't hold your breath!
