Thank you all so much for your comments <3
I've finally added a tutorial on making the fabric feathers. Please let me know if it's unclear in any way Smiley

You could also try stiffening the feathers with a line of hot glue.
This is lovely! Well done.

I'm looking for Simplicity 6340 (the 1970's sailor dress). PM me if you've got a copy to swop or sell! Cheesy

Incredible costume, impressive attention to detail, gorgeous and inspiring to say the least. And that has got to be my favourite tutorial ever, I'll certainly be using that in future so thank you Very much!

I sympathize with your not having gotten photos of the finished project from your client. Unfortunately this has happened to me countless times so I've learned to get all the photos I want Before I hand over a piece. It's a shame to lose out on that opportunity when you've made such a lovely piece.

I'm a veterinary nurse, specializing in avian medicine/ wildlife rehab and have worked with many owls. I must tell you that you have made the owls brilliantly proud I'm certain. The whole costume is so organic and just beautiful.
