Ha, so guess what was waiting for me when I came home today??

Magic Yarn Box ahoy!

Assorted goodies in the box - paper cranes, gorgeous red crocheted coasters, two soaps that smell amazing (I collect soap!), a thimble, some Kiwi stickers - and of course, the pattern for Afternoon Tea Gloves, something I've wanted to make for ages but never gotten around to!

A cute crocheted wristband with pink hearts on it. Adorable!

A truly monstrous yarn ball that took me over an hour to unravel! It was actually two balls in one, and it was so exciting to unravel it and see all the goodies popping out. The yarn itself is a gorgeous colour, perfect for the aforementioned gloves.

Phew, first ball unravelled! And I already feel so spoiled - glow in the dark nailpolish, two facemasks, two body lotions (I needed new lotion, how did you know??), a feathery red flower hair tie, miniature purple thongs, a cupcake calendar, a cupcake lip balm (I think?) and an adorable crocheted teapot bookmark!

And oh my god, the second ball...bubblegum put so much thought and work into the things she sent me, I'm so lucky and spoiled! An adorable crocheted Cheshire cat, crocheted slippers, crocheted potholder, a delicate crocheted baby blue purse, a gorgeous notebook, cake erasers, New Zealand picture cards, stitch markers, a key necklace - and OMG, the best of all - 4 tiny canvases painted with Alice in Wonderland pictures. They are amazingly detailed, and so cute - I love them!

Thank you SO much, bubblegum, you are an amazing swap partner!

Yea, everything is somehow linked to Alice in Wonderland. Like the cuff is obviously the Queen (covered in hearts) and the playing cards (they can actually be used as cards, even though all of the cards have diff pics) are for the... playing cards  Cheesy the cake lipgloss is for the mad hatters tea party, as is the bookmark. The facecloth/potholder is in kind of Cheshire colours lol. Oh, and those slippers... they even have stripey buttons.
I tend to get a wee bit OCD at times  Tongue can anyone tell?  Cheesy

Oh girl, you have got to keep trying for a box. I was wondering if you knew where they came from lol I have gotten several boxes...it helps to have a fast internet connection and a geeky significant other with a high tech computer  Grin

I am finally posting my yarn ball from froggmama:

The first pic shows froggy stickers, a grow-a-frog toy, green wool yarn, a crocheted frog, manicure set, hand-written instructions for learning crochet (they are kind of hidden) and a crochet book with tons of cute patterns.

This photo shows the roving she sent me to spin, a notepad, playing cards, crochet chapstick case, magic towel, kleenex holder, ribbon, crocheted decorations and a clever little jewelry holder (at least that's what I think it is!)

There were also two balls of cotton yarn - one green and one white. I don't know how I left them out of the picture.

Thanks for everything froggmama!
