I envisioned doing something like this in glass after seeing the movie "Up In The Air" and then traveling across our great nation by air. The landscape is so beautiful at 30,000 feet.

@craftytwin: It's a 10" square plate. My kiln's not big enough to make anything too much bigger than that.
