So I'm thinking this should go in this category because it is sort of a cross between a jewlery bag for travel and an individual necklace wallet sort of thing. (If its not let me know and i"ll move it!)
So story behind this:
My mom always takes necklaces when she travels. most places that have storage for necklaces in bags have a little compartment that you have to wind up the necklace or its rung in a circle. Well in her case it almost always ends up having at least one knot in it. So after a suggestion from my father (who helps with most knots) I couldn't find anything in any store. And only had a basic idea of how to keep necklaces seperate. I attempted this. let me know your thoughts, on to a picture:

So basically the black string below is being my model necklace.
So you string your necklace through the elastic and then loop the blue at the other end (it has velcor so you can adjust how big your necklaces are). I only did four seperate sections as I dont think she'll be taking more than that. To close it you then flip the top over the necklaces and fold and then use the thing that is at the bottom, just some elastic in a casing sort of a hair scrunchie type thing!!
Hope it makes sense:

That's great!  I think that will work really well to keep them from getting all knotted.  I bet your mom (and dad) will be happy with this!! Smiley

Oh, my heavens! You are brilliant!  I travel, and carry jewelry for each outfit,  and that is such a fabulous design! It beats the heck out of a zip lock bag and tangled necklaces and bracelets and earrings!  I really love the velcro loop!   Since you are so creative.... what is your idea for earrings?!

Thanks for sharing, you are so creative!

For earrings I make these, they can have necklaces on the bottom but they curl up, I've done bracelets on the bottom or watches. Its basically three cirlces, two of the larger outside, and one the inside and then you sew the smaller one to the larger one to make the pockets for the earrings. It has a drawstring on the outside to close it all up.
