I just love Thanksgiving. And I wanted to make some cute Thanksgiving placemats for my own dinner table. I just love how they turned out... I made 8 placemats. 4 say "gobble" and
4 say "wobble". The wobble turkey is fatter.  I just love them...

From this

close up of turkey... sorry I didn't clean off the soluable stuff off the lettering.

Alright, I'll preface this by saying I'm a big giant dork, but the "wobble" ones are hilarious!!!  And they're all well done!

Alwaysinmyroom: The little turkeys are files that I purchased from embroidery library. They were on sale. http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/Products.aspx?Catalog=Emblibrary&ProductID=D8974
The actual making of the placemats is my own pattern. I love the wavy top stitch...

oh thanks!  I have never ordered patterns this way before---I will need to read my manual to see what is compatible!  I hate buying the whole package and only liking one or two designs...this one is cute and reasonable!  I have bookmarked the site!

Alwaysinmyroom: That is why I have never purchased those CD's I see.  they are expensive and alot of the designs I wouldn't use. So the embroidery library has been great.  I can buy individual files or if I like the entire group, I can do that too.  They are reasonable and always are having sales... So, I have been able to purchase some really nice files and haven't spent a fortune. They have several formats to choose from... And you can't sell the file but you can sell items that you have used the file on... good Luck...
