So, I've been lurking on Craftster for I don't know how long now and I finally decided to post some of the things I've made. Here are two of the first things I made with my new sewing machine. First, my make-up bag. I was tired of having my chap stick, make-up and hand sanitizer floating around in my purse, so this bag was just what I needed.

I got the tutorial from here:  http://modernquiltlove.wordpress.com/2009/07/14/perfect-box-pouch-tutorial/

It's perfect for holding a few things of make-up and some Ricola cough drops.

And here's the coin purse. Pretty simple, but I like it.

I love the makeup bag. The fabric is adorable.  Good job on both projects.

I'm happy for you that you braved it and put your first post. It's a lovely make up bag, the pattern is very cute.
