I knitted this scarf while I was visiting my parents. I didn't bring too much to knit, but I had packed this angora yarn not really knowing what I wanted to make with it. This is the quick project I cam eup with. It's an incredibly soft, delicate scarf. I could have stopped with one skein but I wanted the end of the scarf to match the beginning.

Pattern:
cast on 16 stitches.
r1-3 knit
(rs)r4 knit
r5 purl
r6 knit
r7 purl
(rs)r8 *k1 yo2*
r9 *k1 drop yo's*
(rs)r10 purl

repeat till the scarf is as long as you would like, but I ended after a purl row (r10)

bo all stitches.

Wow, this is so gorgeous and luxurious looking!!!  What size needle did you use, and what is the weight of the yarn?

Thanks!
Andrea

oops I thought I wrote that, here ya go:

yarn: GGH Angora (they say you get 4.5 stitches per inch on us 7-8)
needles: US 15

I used one full skein (I believe thats around 90 yards and a little extra of a second one)

thanks for the compliment

I've been trying to find neat scarf patterns to use for this bamboo yarn that I know I'll have extra of. This pattern is perfect for it. Beautiful scarf!

This pattern/yarn reminds of this beautiful lace scarf on Knitty.
