Okay, so maybe it's not much of a mystery. I took some nifty glow-in-the-dark floss, a scrap of fabric from a pair of torn trousers, and an awesome pattern from Sew Lovely.

The results? A spooky-yet-festive embroidery, perfect for scaring your spouse in the middle of the night.

Seriously. Wouldn't it freak you out to wake up to this?

Boo!

Tee hee. I'm mean.

Thanks for looking!

That thread is awesome, and I really like the end result.

I suppose I have to tell you that on the preview pic I thought it was a person standing next to some sort of giant skull they'd created and I was like 'now how'd they do that?' Cheesy

Lovely work Smiley

Guardie for life.

I am really interested in doing a personal swap, especially for greener things like reusable lady items, wool dryer balls, or other such things.  I can knit, sew, draw, and put things together in pretty neat ways.  Please PM me if you're interested.

Oh my gosh, this is a very nice design!
Your little mischief reminds me of the time my brother got a glow in the dark monster poster from a box of cereal.  He had a great time putting it up in MY room that night and scaring the beejeeber out of me ^_^

Thank you, folks! The colored floss is from Sublime Stitching, and the white floss is from DMC. Both brands proved challenging in their own ways. The white got "feathery," and the colored floss would sometimes sometime fray. But otherwise, it was pretty smooth sailing!

Ha! I wish I had the patience to stitch something so epic! Maybe someday.  Wink

Sounds like the types of shenanigans my brother and I got into.  Now I just pester my husband in similar ways. I'm oh so very mature like that. Grin
