Sugar Body Scrub - this can help increase blood circulation and remove dry skin.

1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons milk

Mix all the ingredients together until creamy.  Gently massage over your body. Rinse well with warm water and then apply lotion or body moisturizer.

Having a spa experience need not be expensive.  You can do it at the comfort of your own home.  Share your D-I-Y spa treatments here.

The granulated sugar can be substituted with brown sugar or salt (salt detoxes your skin).

Other oils can be used instead of the canola such as sweet almond, apricot kernel, camelina, evening primrose, flaxseed, fractionated coconut, grapeseed, jojoba, meadowfoam, peach kernel, rosehip seed.  All the oils listed contribute to the healing of skin.

Those oil alternatives are fragrant and will keep your body smell good all day.  Do you have other body scrub ideas?  I saw in one advertisement about chocolate being used.  How is it done?  I am interested in these natural scrubs that makes our skin soft and smooth and at the same time makes our body calm and relaxed.
