I know it's not as impressive as all the cool stuff everyone else on this forum is making but I thought at least it might inspire a fellow beginner!
I copied the idea from this person, I found it through google:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=261262.0
The pattern is also linked within.

And here is the thread I made in the wrong forum (lol) in which I got help from a kind member (thought it might be useful to a beginner Smiley)
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=362900.0

And here is my hedgehog, I'm proud! Haha

If you wanted to make it I would perhaps put a 2nd layer of felt or a slightly smaller bit of cardboard (to accomodate stitching) in the base.  Just because I found it had a little bit of a bulgy bottom!  Also I could get the template for the 2nd (brown) layer out there if anyone needed it.  I just made it about 2mm bigger than the white layer.

Also big thanks to peihan17 for helping me along the way  Smiley

Edit: Added some small tips for anyone wanting to make it Smiley

She's very cute! I love how helpful everyone is here on craftster, its so much easier to put you little creations out there, or ask for help when you can know that no one is going to ridicule something you spent so much time on.
congrats on your first project! Hope there's lots more coming Smiley

This is so cute!!!  Don't dimish it as compared to other projects you may see - everyone has a first project and this one is wonderful!
