So my sister is due in 6 weeks and it is the first little munchkin to the next generation so we are all SUPER excited. And being the FABULOUS Aunt I know I will be I made the little booger some onesies to...you know...make sure it starts out on the right path in life  Wink

My sister and her hubby are also SOOOOO NOT "baby" people (i.e. no pastel colours, no winnie the pooh, no disney, no cute baby animals) only monsters, zombies, and everything else thats cool.

So here are the 6 onesies I made for her baby shower present.
Oh, and I ironed really soft interfacing on the back so the baby's tummy doesn't get irritated

Jenny Hart pattern "Really Sweet"

Sew Lovely Day of the Dead Skull

I'm pretty sure this one was DMC pattern

Plants Vs Zombies (Which my sister loves. This one took the longest and I wanted to quit half way through)

Jenny Hart Robot Pattern

"My spoon is too big" (From a Don Hertzfeld Animation "Rejected")

Those are all awesome! I like plants vs. zombies too and I can see how much work went into that one, so it is my runner-up. My absolute fave is the sugar skull. It is gorgeous! Those will be something baby can hold onto forever!

Thanks guys! I tried to make them all as gender neutral as possible since the doctor is only 80% sure it's a girl.

Guardie for life.

I am really interested in doing a personal swap, especially for greener things like reusable lady items, wool dryer balls, or other such things.  I can knit, sew, draw, and put things together in pretty neat ways.  Please PM me if you're interested.

All soooo cute. Please tell me these will be kept and turned into a quilt or wall-hanging when the baby outgrows them. They're simply too precious to let sit in a bin in the attic. Smiley

Oh these are brilliant! Personal favourite is the Don Hertzfeld, hubby and I love his stuff. And the Plants vs Zombies stitching is just fantastic. Cheesy

I'm trying to practice my embroidery skills now so when I go baby stuff shopping on the 23rd I'm ready to let loose! I think a Silly Hats Only one may be on my list!
