Wizard Checkers: School Championship Edition

I made this for a swap and thought I'd share now that my partner has received. The board is poster board that I took a sharpie to and laminated.

The pieces are little painted balsa wood circles. Each set of pieces represents a different school house from the Harry Potter series by its color. One side has a letter sticker corrosponding with the house. When the piece becomes a king, the piece is flipped so the letter is down and the side painted with glitter is up.

It's the School Championship edition so the houses compete against each other. Winners play each other and losers play each other deciding 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place.

And you can keep your very own set of wizard checkers in a bag with the rules. Although I can not recommend using the same fabric I used. I will be taking a long break from sewing on "slimy" fabric. Very long.

Thanks for looking!

Great idea! Love each house colour with the letters, and the bag is very pretty.
