This is so funny and I could see it as a snarky remark from the child wearing it as opossed to about the kid who wears it.

I'm a proud mama of many, and I think this is hilarious.

So, I can totally get on board the OP's sentiment. I think the craftspersonship is excellent, and I would LMBO if I got it as a gift one day. Because I'm a realistic mom Smiley

Thanks everyone!
I found the border pattern online and expanded on it, and used PC stitch to make the text, and took a tiny picture of a clipart bay bottle and enlarged it.. so no real pattern, I don't have a pattern program like Stitches when I had my Mac.. No offense, but Stitches is waaay better than PC Stitch!

Thanks for the info!

I love this!  The border design is super cute, and I think it would be hilariously funny do a whole frames series of uglies -- ugly baby, ugly dog, ugly house, ugly SHOES!  Oh, yes. Cheesy  Maybe I'll randomly frame & hang them throughout my house as unexpected funny art. Cheesy

Great job.  I love the saying and the stitching.

I have so many books on cross stitch, but I haven't done it yet.

I'm gonna make one that says:

Their Ugly Alike

Ive had six kids and ive been homeschooling since 1992.
I love kids but I love this too.

I would make this into a diaper bag or something or put it on a T-shirt just to see how people react. LOL

Yeah, I am not fond of kids, either, most especially preschoolers.*shudders*. amusing little craft. Though I must say when I first viewed it, I thought it was in poor taste until I'd read the post, and then realized the craft was made in jest.

And, indeed,  babies are homely. What to say when someone shows you photos of their babies and they are ugly?Huh It's certainly hard to not to sound false when remarking, ' oh, s/he sure is cute.'  Ack.

MEGA dittos!
Love the unexpected text.
I cross stitched a bib with "Babies Suck" and gave to a friend I thought had a sense of humor.  Um, no, not so much.
Oh well.
