Finally, here are pictures of the wonderful stocking Kaz sent me. I unfortunately don't have pics of the things she sent my boyfriend, however, I should be able to get them on Wednesday. Sorry for the delay, I had a very long Thanksgiving trip and my parents' internet proved too slow to upload things.
First off, the beautiful stocking:
I love the colors. It's very elegant and will look great hanging on the stairwell.
I also love the buttons. They are so fancy.
Next off, a plastic bag dryer:
I asked for it specifically as I keep having to throw bags away when they don't dry properly. I knew kaz was involved in the frugal swaps and I thought she might have a good idea. It's currently being put to good use in my kitchen.
A collection of three items, earrings, tissues, and a shell angel:
I sent her a pack of Christmas tissues that look almost the same, so these made me giggle. The earrings are beautiful and I wore them when I opened the package. They will look great with my Christmas skirt, which is gold. The shell angel will go straight into my angel host when I start decorating for Christmas. I collect angels, so I was excited to see a new one.
Next, a few store bought goodies: Flamingo soap, cinnamon bath salts, and a journal for my novel endeavors.
I was so excited to see the flamingo soap and it smells so good. I collect flamingos and so I squealed a bit when I saw it. It will be hard to decide whether to use it or just keep it whole. I actually have a tub, my old place didn't have one, just a shower, so I loved getting the bath salts. I shall use them to keep sane during my exams. Also, the journal is the perfect size to go in my purse, so I think I have a new recipe/shopping notebook, which I've been needing.
Also included were this awesome mug, with an etching of a Linnea flower pendant on it, and a bag of hot cocoa mix. I haven't had time to try it yet, but I'm sure it will get used this week to help me relax. The glass is perfect, as I have the pendent on my wist as a way to remember my possible future tattoo design, as well as something pretty to wear.
Eric's glass had a lego head on it and he was thrilled.
He's a bit of a dork. He also got a bag of cocoa mix and a computer duster thing that goes over your fingers. He was excited to try it, but managed to get away without me taking pictures. I'll try to get them up on Wednesday when I see him next.
I also received a package of Flamingo pasta. I was floored beyond belief, as it's perfect for me. Sadly, the picture got eaten by my camera, but I shall try to get a new one. I've already taken the pasta to work as lunch and everyone else loved it too. There was a pretty box of shortbread too, however, it's mysteriously disappeared before I could get pictures...
Apparently shortbread makes good road food. It was quite delicious though and came in a pretty Chinese takeout box.
I loved my package and everything is so perfect for me! Thanks to kaz and the organizers for yet another great swap!
