The Mend and Make Do was a super challenging piece for me. How often do I intentionally let the thread knot up, twist and cause chaos? It took me a while to relax enough to finish that piece. LOL

My daughter did not approve of your bug! I was working on it at the breakfast table and she stated quite clearly and emphatically "Mom, you can't send her an icky bug!" which just made me more determined.

The altered altoid box is a needle book for holding sewing needles. I don't know enough about knitting, but if it will work to hold bits and bobs for that, it will work as well.

I have done really good not opening the kinder eggs with the toys in them, possibly since I got some as a thank you from another craftster!

And I love everything! I had two friends over and my friends son and the 2 year old was telling me which things to open next.

OhEmGee, I'm so sorry it has taken so long for me to post pics! I received my package from ghilie the day before Thanksgiving, behold my Christmas Stocking glory:

The lovely stocking, with sparkly snowflake sequins. This thing is huge, I can't wait until DH has to fill it next year


A lovely apron in one of my all-time favorite fabrics modelled in a most idiotic fashion by moi (I know you can't tell because of my pose, but it's really beautiful and well-made!)


And this may be the first time I've put her down, but she demanded to be photographed... she's a bit of a ham! My punkin! (ghilie, you are most talented )


And here's the entire package, including some Christmas-themed rubber stamps (How have I made it so many years without a "do not open before Christmas" stamp?!) and some really beautiful snowflake soaps. Hmm, there seems to be a whole bunch of candy missing... but I think we all know how that goes, right?
