Calgary daytime knitting group

I work with a group of people who are just learning to knit and we are looking for a daytime "stitch and bitch" that we could connect with. The people I work with are adults with developmental disabilities and through the programs  offered at the agency I work for we try to assist individuals in becoming more integrated into society. Ideally we would meet at a public venue (there would be 5-8 people) and we would just do the usual stitch and bitch type thing. I think the day we would be interested in would be thursday but that might be flexible. If you are part of a group that might be interested in something like this or know of some leads that I should follow up let me know.
