Last year, after the death of my parents long time neighbour, I was given several full length wool skirts. Though beautiful, and at one time very expensive, no one was interested in them as skirts, therefore they became dog coats for Luna (Bouvier), Brinkley (Doxie-??), and Odie (Min-Pin X Chihuahua).

I used a McCall pattern, modified slightly for the various versions. I made Luna one jacket, Brinkley three, and Odie two.

They look awesome, and they're probably really warm which the dogs will always love. It's so much fun making clothing for dogs!

They look great! I may make a few for my dane mix and boxer/english bulldog mix (winter is not their thing, LOL). Im pretty sure my Great Pyrenees would laugh at me, but a matching bandanna would be nice for him too  Grin

What is this "normal" you talk about? Is it contagious? OMG! Stay away! Don't touch me! I might catch your normal!
