Cook-Eat-Stitch-Game- in that order :)

So despite the fact that last night was the longest bar night of the year (because of the time change, you get an extra hour after midnight hehe), I still managed to get up today and make a new pair of curtains for my new bedroom (we moved about a week ago):

Close up of the fabric I used (Monaluna Cafe Mixers):

I don't really have a window in my kitchen so I decided to use this fabric in the bedroom instead.  I love to cook, so I thought it was a subtle touch.  I had the curtain ties in a drawer for years, I just attached them with a little tack on each side.  The view from my new bedroom is basically the parking lot, so it was nice to mask that a little and still have decent light.

Thanks for looking!

Actually, in my region, New years is the longest bar night of the year: they're allowed to serve 2 hours extra.

I rather dislike my sewing machine.
