This year I made my kids coordinating superhero costumes out of the most masochist fabrics I could find: stretch metallic lycra and silk touch lycra.  They look like unitards but for toddler toileting reasons, they are separate tops and leggings with briefs over the top Smiley

Their initials are appliqued to the chest.

And with matching capes.

The masks I had to back with felt and stitch close to the edge and trim because the lycra was so slippery and fine I couldn't think of anything else to do!

The kids loved them and were generally hilarious all day being heroic Smiley  Thanks for looking!

Gotta wear metallic lycra while you can.  Wink  They look so adorable.  Great job, Mom!

Thanks very much guys!  There were some people wondering why I didn't make myself a matching suit but metallic lycra is not for the over-puberty set, imho  Wink

I love these pics, especially the serious Super J pose.  Did you use a pattern?
