The other day, my boyfriend was talking about how he'd never seen a key chain with his name on it, as it's pretty unusual (Nefi). So I'd like to make him one, but I have no idea where to start.

I'd rather not make it out of beads or anything of that nature, because I don't want him to be embarrassed to use it, y'know? (;

So if anyone has any ideas on how I could make him a durable, personalized key chain, I'd be eternally grateful!

Thanks in advance.

Um, i used to do keychains for my friends using my dad's old worn out belt, i cut it into the shape i wanted and sewed words on using light blue and white colour thread (nylon thread), its hard to sew them on, but it turn out pretty interesting after i put on the key rings thingy.

You can also weave threads on to "ice cream stick" for nick names at highschool, and few laminated tiny pictures piled into a keychain.

Um thats some of the stuff i did.
