Christmas peppermint pillow

My mom has wanted me to make some peppermint pillows for the past 3 or so years for her Christmas decoration addiction. I finally had the nerve to tackle them this year and finished early (GASP!) enough for her to actually use them. The pattern is from a joanns flier (which I can email to folks if you want it). I am usually not one for Christmas decorating but I really actually adore this pillow because its almost a bit Katy Perry stage prop-ish.

Its made from polyester/nylon felt in red and white and tulle as the wrapper.

First, I saw Chocolate Fudge Crackle Peppermint Chocolate Ice Cream on sale. Then I just had to pick up the new Candy Cane Cheesecake. And now I see this? I just don't want to make it, I want to eat it!!! You've done a fantastically yummy job!

Thanks for the kind words yall! Unfortunately my mom won't get it until Christmas because it turned out WAY bigger than I thought it would and she lives 700 miles away. Mailing pillows just seems silly to me. Although maybe I could get one of those "space bags".... Anyone mailed anything using space bags?
