just improvising some hats.  it's been fun





 
I used a tunisian knit stitch for these.  I might do it again

the pink is just a half double front post  making a rectangle for the length of the total size of the hat.  I think for this one I did 21 inches.   I crocheted up the short ends to make a ring then sewed up an open end for the top of the hat.

Is the pattern for the purple hat your pattern? I like them all but the purple is my fav.

for the purple hat I just made an ear-flap hat and made a purple diamond applique sewed it on and added the white stitches for the argyle design
