I always sort of pick my halloween costume on a whim, but because I insist that my sister, the Mr. and I wear related costumes it leads to some complicated places. I decided around the beginning of October I wanted to be Wonder Woman.

Here I am, in the least creepy full length picture of the costume.

The friend standing next to me is pregnant, and I am unabashedly molesting her belly in all of the group shots. I made pretty much everything except the red tights and the tank top that the red top is attached to, including the shoe covers and the fabric for the skirt.

This is a reasonably good photo of the top and accessories. For anyone who nee to attach a head piece, I recommend the beauty supply store. There are clips designed to hold in hair extensions and they are without equal for keeping something on your head for an entire evening.

I feel like it is important to note that it is near impossible to get blue fabric with white stars on short notice this time of year, so that skirt was a feat of spray paint and freezer paper.

My sister is dressed as "Crazy Catwoman" and had stuffed cats tied to her belt with string so that they would drag around her ankles all night.

Finishing with me and The Mr. He is the green lantern, although I woke up late and didn't have time to paint on his mask.

I actually had a cardigan on for most of the night, too, but those pictures were all taken in a room with a blazing wood stove.
