I am really working hard at getting more skirts into my wardrobe. Cheapest way to do this? Goodwill of course! Extra large $3 men's t-shirt into fun skirt!

Hope you like!
P.S. Long time crasftster creeper, first time posting. Eeek!  Kiss

That's so cute, and looks super quick to make. How long did it take you?

Thanks! Maybe a half hour? And a lot of that time was just getting pictures of each step.  Grin

I'd be interested in doing a personal swap with anyone who wants to do a fabric-wool swap. I have lots of wool and yarns!

Glad you guys like it! It's reaaaally easy. Just cut off a men's X-large or XX-large shirt below the armpits and hem that raw edge. Sew the placket of the shirt down so it is just a big circle. (After I took the pic I took off some of the buttons from the scrap part of the shirt and sewed them going down the front more) Measure a comfortable amount of elastic around your waist, I used 1 inch wide elastic and starting about 5 or 6 inches down from the top seam, sew the elastic on with a zig zag stitch! Very easy! My skirt was out of 100% cotton shirt and actually I would suggest using a rayon blend so it lays a bit flatter. Mine was a tad poofy for my liking.
