Well, I made a really cool (to my mind) quilt with a batik jelly roll a while back (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=353078.msg4125468#msg4125468), and had a bunch of leftover pieces of jelly roll.  So this is what I did with it:

Close up of fabrics:

Even closer:

And the back - again needed to stretch how much backing fabric I had, so used some leftover squares from the front (plus, I like how this looks better than just the plain dots!):

It's a bit funky-looking in the pic because I didn't bother to smooth it all down - sorry!  Next time I will be more patient!  Cheesy

C&C welcome!  Thanks for looking!

I like both of the quilts but this one is my favorite! Love the color combo! Great job!

Thanks, all!  This one is a Christmas gift for my parents.  I started out just making it to make it, but finished it in the right season, and I think they'd really like it! Smiley

Great job - and it looks totally different than the "original" quilt.  I just love finding uses for leftover fabric, don't you?

I totally do, especially since I'm trying to be "good" and use the fabric I have for projects rather than buying new.  I like how different it looks, too!

What a beautiful use of leftovers. Plus, it's great that you were able to use it as a Christmas present. I'm about to get to work on three quilts for Christmas (not counting the two I'm supposed to making for myself Tongue). Thanks for the reminder to use what I have first. I was going to buy fabric for the third quilt, but maybe I can figure out something from my stash. Here's hoping. Cheesy
