Bear attack scoodie

Please keep in mind this is technically a prototype 



I have a problem many people face in winter (particularly in Michigan). I am ALWAYS cold. Seriously. Always. And the outside? Let's not get started with the outside. Especially with that "s" word coming soon.

Anyways, in years past at collge I would bundle up with a hat with earnflaps and my trusty rainbow scarf, but not this year! Now I am a married woman and simply MUST look sophisticated (Dear Craftster people, behold my childish sarcasm...). Also, I fell in love with people's posts for scoodies aka hooded scarves and wanted to make my own.

This is my own pattern and still needs tweaking. Such as the super long scarf. But I'm okay with that. Remember the always cold bit? The super longness of the scarf will keep me more bundled up and warm.

For anyone curious, I used Lionbrand Homespun yarn for the main parts and worsted weight for the details.

I like the idea of the bear attack.  This will be my first winter in Michigan.  I am going to make myself a scoodie too.  The problems I am too late it is snowing right now in the Lansing area.

I grew up in Northern Wisconsin, and I could have def. used one of these.  I, too, have known the constant, creeping chill of a 6 month winter.
