Hopeful heart glittered with jealousy

I made this little shrine about being in love with my boyfriend. God, that sounds so cheesy. I made the heart with paper clay, attempted to break out the front of the old morphine bottle by following directions to do so without breaking the whole thing... I super glued it back together. The "Risk" plate comes from a quote in "The Little Prince" when he says, "You risk tears if you let yourself be tamed." I plan on adding more but I say that with everything I do. Could be years, I could give it away before then.

I am so glad that you get it and at the same time, sorry-- heart shit... brutal. Crazy. Completely consuming.

Aw jackie...your work is wonderful and I am so glad that you are posting some of it. Craftster is all about encouragement and you are easy to encourage because you are so good!!

and yes I totally get the shrine...being as I am in the most screwy love situation..but that is the story of my life...and if you are ever planning on giving away that shrine, as you mentioned in your post, pm me and I will swap you anything for it..actually it was in my head today, I was crafting away and trying to articulate some of the themes that this represents..but not quite getting there..it will take a while to gestate I think.

This is absolute poetry. Cheesy it may be, but overwhelming passion is one of the most beautiful things in the world while it lasts. Then we all feel a little embarrassed afterward. =) You froze this moment perfectly.
