as regards the isle of man, remember that it is (sorta) part of the UK and Uk postal, particularly parcel post has ground to a halt over the last couple of weeks due to very bad weather.

Those hats with the bows are adorable!!  Smiley

I received my first parcel today from Claire313 - pincushions and a felt monster - So cute!!  My son claimed him IMMEDIATELY and hugged and kissed him as soon as I said yes.  And my daughter told him that he's a sleepy time monster to scare away the real monsters and bad dreams when he's sleeping.  My son is SO excited about that - he said YAY!!

Thanks so much, Claire!

Oh, I'm so glad it finally arrived!  I was digging through my buttons last night to figure out if I could remake it for you in case it was lost.  It just amazes me sometimes how long things take from here to Canada.  And I'm very happy that you like it Smiley

speaking of craft packages

I had a great haul today. I got part two of my package from Bhean, she already sent me some yummy fabric supplies and now some great scrapbooking supplies, strangely the envelope was completely open when it arrived,

so I have no idea if anything fell out, but I loved what was there, so I reckon it was all intact. This is the group pic, some gorgeous papers in there. Including a brilliant vintage sewing pattern.

and I also got this shrine from Gamemom..she is daft, she apologised for it and said that she didn't like it, reckoned it is not up to her usual standards..well if this is not up to her standards..her standards must be stratospheric.

I love it. It is calm and still.. two qualities I love in art work as I tend to excess and exuberance in my work and have a hard time with restraint. It is so beautiful and I love this quote..it actually made me quite emotional when I sat and looked at it..It is going to join my collection of shrines..

thanks Bhean and Gamemom...and our glorious leader Babalina of gorgeous granddaughterness and fabulous hattedness..

Thanks edel, you're too kind.

I received two wonderful packages over the several days ago.  Sorry it's taken me so long to post pics.

First up, babalina58 claimed me for a uterus stuffie.  My daughter rants and raves monthly about her evil uterus abusing her, so I wanted something tangible she could kick around a bit.  The uterus babalina made is actually very pink and very soft and more suited to cuddling than kicking,  so maybe my daughter can just snuggle up with it when she's in pain:

She also sent me an adorable extra, a Precious Moments cross-stitch!  My other daughter collects Precious Moments things, so this will be hers.  It will look so pretty on her
wall :

errka claimed me for a Dr. Seuss t-shirt for my friend for Christmas.  The stencil is wonderful and the shirt itself is just perfect for the friend it's intended for!

( I don't know what in the world happened to that picture.  I'll try to get a better one tomorrow)

Thanks so much ladies, I love it all!

I recieved from NatACT today. I got a great Futureama brain slug:

She's hanging in my Christmas tree at the moment. I can't work out how you get the antena to stay curly.

And some supplies - 2 fat quaters for my i-spy quilt and some glitter for my kids for craft.

Thank you NatACT
