Had no idea there was a costume challenge. It's definitely not as cool as a lot of the others, but I fugured, what the hell! Wish I'd known there was a contest on here - would've taken process and more detailed pics.

I went as Anxiety Girl, from the
Natalie Dee comic:

I already had the green sneakers, and bought the leggings, shirt, and boxers. (Was hard to find any green shorts to this time of year, unless they were huge basketball shorts.)
I sewed the cape and used fusible interfacing (with some emergency fabric glue) to make the applique on the front of the shirt and back of the cape because I couldn't get my stupid bobbin rethreaded. I also used interfacing for the mask. I also should've used a knit for the applique on the shirt as well as the mask - both were really stiff, but I didn't get the materials until a few days before halloween and didn't make the costume until the day of, so all and all, I'm satisfied.
Several people said "Cool, a ninja turtle." WTF? Clearly I am ANXIETY GIRL, and plus, none of the TMNTs wore green masks.
My friend who took the picture told me too look anxious. Wish I'd done the pose instead, though.
