fantastic!
I recently went on a nappy making binge, but am not sure about the fabrics I used.
I looked for PUL online but its so expensive, and the lady at the local fabric shop just looked at me blankly...........

A pattern for a tute would be so nice.  BTW, I've never seen a blue fuzzy diaper...I like it.  How does is "behave" when soiled?

I love the monster one!
and would to like to know how the blue fuzzy 'behaves' as well, love the ooga booga fabric!

Scrappy Sue:
have you tried nappiescovered.com.au, bubbaearth.com.au or gbau.com.au?
I've bought/had friends buy from them and they are lovely.
PUL is more expensive, but the only place you'll be able to find it is online, Spotlight and Lincraft don't have anything suitable.

thanks for the tip!
Found some places today, gave up on the US and Canada sites, postage more than the product.
I've made some, using variuos things and I think the pattern was a free one from Octobre? or something like that, but the PUL had eluded me.
Heading off to do some online shopping....

Where did you buy the retro cars fabric?   I just wrecked an outfit I made with it for my son and I need to get some more to re-make it.   Sad

I love the diapers! I was wondering though, have you tried them out yet? I was curious how the fuzzy fabric did when soiled.

I bought bunch of stuff to make some myself, but haven't started yet. Been lurking on what everyone else made lol Smiley

the fabric on the inside is minky. and it has a sty dry effect, baby won't feel wet it clean out nice too...i rinse all my diapers out before they go in the pail anyway

natrual fabrics are good for absorbancy
and the poly is good for stay dry feeling not at all that absorbant but is tuffed it with a prefold

I'd love to see a tutorial for the fitted diaper--I have a few of them and have been trying to reverse-engineer the pattern.

Looks cool! Smiley
I sewed my own pocket nappies for my daughter. We love them Smiley I used PUL fabric to get it "water"-resistant haha Smiley

I can share the pattern if you need it. Wink
