I saw a version of this costume on the Martha Stewart website last year and thought it was cute but already had a costume made for my daughter. So I made it this year!
I sewed a white body suit and attatched feather boas all over it. Feathers have been everywhere in my house for weeks now! I wanted to make the costume as warm as possible (seeing as we got snow a few days before Halloween, yuck) I then sewed a hat with earflaps and attached more feathers and a stuffed felt comb. I bought the tights and made the feet from two dish gloves with shoes inside. I made the beak from cardboard covered in felt so it was comfy and warm. She loved running around the house shouting, "Bok Bok Bok!"

Great Job.
So nice to have a costume warm enough to not have to hide under a coat.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
