I took a coptic weaving class, where one of the examples to weave was a rabbit.  However, I have guinea pigs, so I decided this would suit me much better!

I am very happy with the border & the greens.  The GP shape could have been done much better, and he has no ear, as I tried & tried & tried, & then got fed up trying, so made him earless!

C&C welcome  Smiley

He's SO cute!  Even without an ear, he's completely identifiable.  I love how serene and happy he looks.

Sweet!  I am quite allergic to guinea pigs, but they ARE rather adorable.

This is your first tapestry? You did a really nice job. I've made only a few small ones and I always have trouble with the edges so I really admire yours.

The guinea pig's body looks good to me; it definitely looks like a guinea pig. Your curves are very smooth too. And I like that you included pictures of the work in process.

I think he looks fine without ears but I'll bet if you do more of this you'll figure out how to make them, you're already so far along with the learning process.
