I wish my execution was on par with my inspiration

I recently started as a high-school age youth sponser at my church and I wanted to give my girls my contact information as well as a little gift. I decided combining the two with these bookmarks that I made ostentacious enough so that they wouldn't be lost the first night!

This is my first project post so I hope you enjoy.

I don't have a picture of the backs but they were simple with a Bible reference and my contact info.

That is a nice gift, plus a great way to give out contact information. I really love the cupcake ones

Hi! Those bookmarks are very cute! What a sweet way to connect with them right off the bat- and putting your info on it was an awesome idea. Are they laminated? It looks like it in the photo.  Were you able to find laminating paper that size, or you you have to cut your own? Great work, they look very nice!

They are laminated. I used 4x6 laminating pouches and cut them in half. That was the only part I wasn't too happy about as it didn't look as clean cut as it could have. I just left the top part open so I could attach the ribbon.

I think they look great! No worries at all.  You did a fabulous job, and I'm sure the girls will agree.  Have you had a chance to give them out yet?  I want to know what the reaction was! PS- I love the star ribbon.  That is super cute. It makes for a really whimsical touch!

I did give them out or rather let them pick which one they wanted. Seemed to be well received except for a tomboy that scoffed at all the pink and glitter  Cheesy

Ha ha ha. There is always one in every group, right? Always a buzzkill! You know what will happen? In the end, she'll lose hers or something, and realize she's somehow become incredibly attached to it and come back and ask you to make another one for her... JUST like the first one she had. Pink, sparkly and all. LOL
