so its getting chilly and i finally have a reason to bust out my needles, so i've been working on some things and stuff.

first is on of those teddy bear hats, but for adults!

next i made a simple earflap hat in bright yellow with big ol pom poms on it

this one's a foldover beanie in teal but its pretty big for my friends with big noggins

i made this for my friends birthday last minute and now i can't stop, haha

so this is another one in plain creme yarn!

doesn't it look like buttered popcorn? this makes me want to cuddle and watch movies.

and lastly this cowl was an experiment but i think i like how it turned out.

thanks for lookin'!

How cute! I wish it were cool enough here to start in with the winter wear. I love winter hats and scarves! But in sunny FL you're only likely to see them if there's a cold snap. =/

Love 'em all, but especially the teddy bear one.  I love hats with ears and pom poms and whatnot.  The more crazier, the better!

Welcome back to the game!! (We should introduce you to warm-weather yarns so we can keep you here year-round, lol  Wink)

I want to make the buttered popcorn one - is there a pattern anywhere?
How much different is it from the cowl? I'd like the pattern for that one too.

Can you tell I'm cold? The sun is shining but there is a stiff breeze blowing - and my headband is hiding from me. Perhaps until I show it some respect - and time off - by knitting a second one, so they can alternate duties.

to be honest, they're hardly patterns i just knit things, haha
basically the butter one is seed stitch and i made a long scarf which i attatched. and then the checkerboard one knit and purl alternated.
i would give you more specifics, but i sell things and don't like to reveal my whole secrets!

Great job on the stitchin', __smellmop!  Cute, colorful, innovative...and oh, so practical!!  I'm lovin' the knitting/crochet season, too.  til about Dec.28th...then I'm ready for some lighter patterns, and less cold!

You've been busy! I love everything you made. The bright yellow hat is my favorites.

Looks like a fun photoshoot too Smiley.
